Chocolate Or Flowers On Valentine’s Day

Monday, June 16th, 2008

You have come to February 13th and you are trying to figure out what to buy your wife for Valentine’s Day. You don’t have too much imagination, so you want to choose between chocolate or flowers. Flowers are always beautiful and never a bad gift. They come in so many different varieties that you have many different options about what you want to buy her. You can go with a combination of flowers, you can go with the old standby; roses, or you can take a more obscure flower, including carnations or daisies. If you go with flowers, add a card to it that has a special message or poem on it to give it a bit more personality. The best way to make an impression is go with a large bouquet of roses, with a beautifully worded card to go with it.

Chocolate is a girl’s best friend, well next to diamonds that is. If you buy some chocolate for her, don’t just get the usual chocolate in a heart shaped box. Instead, go for something a bit better and original. Find some Pot of Gold or specialty chocolate that costs an arm and a leg. By going all out on the chocolate, you will make your wife a very happy woman. As with the flowers, include a special card to give it a bit more personality and show that you took some initiative for her gift.

Have A Happy St Valentine’s Day

Monday, July 9th, 2007

Every year I have the pleasure in helping many hundreds of couples with many different issues that they may wish to resolve in their relationships. These issues tend to range from and anything like jealousy to infidelity. But the biggest problem that I find my clients encounter is a problem with communicating! So what with the run up to St Valentine’s Day I wanted to put together a few tips to keep the passion in your partnership and to keep the communication friendly! Before we begin you need to understand that typically, men and woman use two different language patterns.

First of all, men tend to be much more logical in their thoughts and in their communication. Women on the other hand, tend to come from a more emotional stand point. Please don’t shoot me done for this observation – I don’t write the rules!

OK so here are my tips;

1. Be respectful of each others beliefs and opinions, this is really vital when you know that things may get heated and blow out of control. This is extremely important as arguments where you both feel that you are right, rarely get resolved easily and bad feelings could linger for a while.

2. Remember that a quick hug or a kiss on the cheek is also communication! It doesn’t just involve talking, sometimes a hug or a kiss says so much more than words. Also any positive gesture is a great push in the right direction too.

3. Try and have times when you can sit down and share some of your disagreements, do this in an orderly fashion making sure that both of you have more than enough time to get you views across. Do this often and if should cut down the spontaneous disagreements that you may have.

So there you have it, three very simple tips that are a great start to achieving some huge results in your relationship. This is a start, so remember you can build on what you have learnt here and make your relationship great. Remember that St Valentine’s Day in for lovers to celebrate each other and also to appreciate each other. Why not make this year special for each other and for your relationship.

I really hope that you have enjoyed what I have put together for you here and really enjoy putting it in to good use in getting the life and relationship of your dreams for both you and your partner.
